Based out of Tucson, AZ, this music was first shaped singing gospel in the church at the early age of four. From gospel to high school theatre and choirs, the sound ultimately was shaped through pain, divorce, and heartache. Listening to years of soft jazz formed this healing journey.  With influence from Sting, Peter White, Diana Krall, Sade, Melody Gardot, and Chris Botti, Kelly Rose is a captivating contralto whose rich, velvety voice and sultry stage presence bring sophisticated jazz to life. Performing as lead singer and founder of Kelly Rose N the Thorns to lead singer and co-founder of the popular local band The Jazzmantics, Kelly Rose brings an alluring blend of elegance, warmth, and smoky sensuality. She turns every song into an intimate after-hours experience. Her debut solo album "Smokin' Hot Jazz" is out September 15, 2026, with a run of live shows to follow.
